Tried to follow graphicfunk's steps to the letter. Made my own flip bellows out of duct tape and foam core. This was the most difficult image to set up and shoot to date. I did it Old School!

For those wanting the exact steps please visit graphicfunk's portfolio and read the steps in his image "miracle in basic editing"

Thank you very much Mr.Cuesta ( graphicfunk) for your lessons they have and will continue to serve me well.

Editing Steps:
Open jpeg in PS
crop
hue & saturation I made a big move to the left with the lightness slider to make the background gray'ish
Then a Ton of curves adjustments until I got the line in the middle to washout the best I could.
Brightness & contrast
USM
re-size & save for the web.

I'd like to know how you did this. Cool result, although the background is slightly too dark - the glass blends into it.

It looks like there are oil bubbles in the glass that I find distracting. But I really like how you did this, great idea, and wonderfully smooth line.

Oh man - I'm now so glad I went with the idea I came up with rather than doing this one!

You did an absolutely fantastic job and I'm tickled pink that I won't be compared to it - excellent! <<10>>
