 I love shoes! :D

Shot in the studio with a posing stool holding the dressing room mirror and my favorite new shoes. Cleaned the mirror really well and set the stool/mirror in the middle of a white backdrop. Turned all of the lights WAY up and facing away from the shoes - pointing at the white walls and backdrop. Basically made a giant light tent of the room to avoid reflections on the shoes and mirror.

Boosted contrast a bit, but not too much because I wanted to keep detail in the black areas; like where the heel tip meets the mirror. Adjusted the color with Hue/Sat and Selective Color. Bit of cloning/dodging/burning to get things just right. Little crop for symetry, then sharpen and save for web.

haha you and the backs of shoes, when i saw this it reminded me of this photo haha i really love the clean cut lines on this shot. very nice lighting this would make an awesome print :)

Totally cool shot here from you, re this challenge. Perfect clarity and focus of something a little out of the box, but done so very well.....
From the thumbnail you have no idea what you are looking at.....

SHOES! I love shoes! :) The yellow is awesome. It's so neat to see the reflection...at first I almost didn't know it was shoes. Very cool.

This shot is . . . . . . .I hesitate to say it, but perfect. The color is striking, the exposure is awesome, the idea is great -- it doesn't say "anything" yet is says a lot. Great work.

Great advertising shot, The color contrast between yello and black gives it a very nice dimension. one nitpik- the highlights on the heels does spoil the impact of this otherwise wonderful image 8
