This was another try at photographing dandilion seeds. I find them fascinating. Sprayed water drops onto it to give it a more interesting touch (and because I like water drops ;-)
Taking a bit of a DNMC risk here because I don't know if a dandilion seed has a "backside or behind" view... hmmm...

Thanks so much for the votes and comments.
Special thanks to Tate metatate for his excellent, detailed comment.

Very neat shot. I love the feel of it. Just curious, though: how do you tell which side is the back?

This definitely is an image with potential to be on the front page of this web site. Given the subject and composition, it looks like it should all be pretty well sharp and focused - I think the lack of complete sharpness and not-extremely-interesting position of the subject hurt this - If it were more obvious that it was at a sharp angle and there was a great deal of depth-of-field, I think the result would be a winner - either that or if the entire thing had a bit more sharpness. Addtionally, the vignetted background and water drops are beautiful and I think just going for a slightly larger image without a border would have helped also- This is a tough one to score - let's go 7 for a great effort with some room for improvement.

Excellent macro shot. I believe it would have been even better in B&W though.
