The Alluvial Fan in RMNP.

Right side, lower middle. Obviously, most could not find Waldo, which I mistakenly thought was the challenge assignment. I was punished with low scores... because it was "too hard" to find Waldo. Point taken! I wont do a b&w again, anytime soon.

I was wrong about this one too (stupid me for voting on an inferior monitor and not coming back). I see him now. What I saw was just a gap between rocks...

I found him with your direction in the description. He is blended in "too good". I wonder, how did he look in the color version?

Avery complex and busy photo! Excellent! It is shots like this that reaffirms my love for Black -n-White. Took me a while to find Waldette!! (8)

Wow, those are some big boulders. Took me awhile to find Waldo.

Great choice of locations, with lots of stuff going on visually. The slowish shutter speed gives some motion (flow?) to the water, which is appealing. I wonder if a bit more contrast might strengthen this a bit; as is it seems a bit flat to my eye, though this perhaps helps in hiding Waldo by blending the shades together.

I have a feeling the person was wearing some bright coloured clothing that made it too obvious, so you converted to black and white to make it nearly impossible.... but I think I've found someone about to moon you. ;-)

Hanging on the tree? Great set up! The b&w conversion looks a little flat and grey. If you have photoshop, maybe try the channel mixer - monochrome, or even a b&w gradient map. Works much better than desat or greyscale.

It looks like the water is coming out of nowhere. Nice capture.

Looks very flat. Some playing with curves is needed here I think.

I think that the tonality range of this picture needs to be expanded. It looks a little flat.

I'm sure this was probably a very nice scene to look at, however, I'm finding the lighting to be very flat producing not enough contrast.

You went to far with your Waldo, you need to give people a reasonable chance to find him on their own (hiding in plain sight) photoshoping into the landscape fails that.

A bit busy and flat; some dodge and burn action would have helped focus the eye I think. Can't find Waldo but I expect he's there.

Wow! I find it amazing how finally seeing the person really changes the... well, size of the picture/river.

Nice job; seeing the person gives weird perspective to this big rock falls.

Lovely shot, and I think I found Waldo (head peering over some rocks just under half way down and slightly to the right????) But the wonderful thing is I am not sure. Lovely image although (imo) perhaps could have done witha touch more contrast.

Love the falls, can't find Waldo

Making it B/W helped hide the person, if there is one in their. I'll look for this one to see after voting, cause I can't find anybody.

The light seems a bit flat, other than that I like it.
