Thank you all for the great comments! It's nice to get useful feedback.

Looking back, I'd say this photo is too busy. Seems like the movement of the grapes in the foreground is confusing. The dark spot in the back-middle seems out of place as well. I do still like the overall darkness of the photo. (That's just my taste.)

Also, the title was supposed to be contradictory. Not sure if that was a good idea on my part or not.

Thanks again,

Brandon

Composition is very good. Lighting is too dark for me. 6-Martin

Beautiful lighting and colour. The water droplets may be a tad over done, but otherwise a great pic.

Beautiful lighting

Great light and good colour. Slightly confusing in front of the grapes. 9 - floyd

This really needs to be seen in large view (as opposed to thumbnail) Nice lighting and composition. Is the title supposed to seem contradictory to the subject/technique here? I see disappearing grapes..not too still..lol :-) The apples came out great and the way you captured the water droplets. 9

Cool picture but it looks kinda nasty. What is that stuff all over the grapes on the ground? I feel like I'm asking a stupid question... is it a reflection, maybe? I took a long time trying to figure out what this is, and still I am confused. A lot to look at.

I normally wouldnt vote still-life shots very high, but this one is very well done. I love the darkness of it, it makes it seem very classical, and periodic. I love the water droplets on the apples aswell. I'm a little bit confused looking at the right hand side of the picture. Are those big grapes under glass? or are they the reflection in a puddle or something? I think thats confusing area is what stops me from giving this photo a 9. I voted it 8. -Konador

I like the darker visual appeal of this picture, the textures really help as well, nice shot

Really like the quality of light and the water on the fruit, particularly on the applies. Background stripey stuff doesn't do anything for me.

Nice still life - I like the water - it gives a fresh kind of feeling. However, I do wish the shadows were a little lighter though - on the left and in the center.

How beautiful! I love this picture. Most people will probably say it is a tad dark, but I really like it that way, It makes it a little mysterious.

very nice! This is an excellent and effective use of lighting. My only misunderstanding is how the title relates to the image... In most 'still life' images, there is no sense of motion... the grapes in the lower right seem to be in motion :) Great shot... = 9 - jmsetzler

Too dark, but great color combo.

Beautiful color on the apples and the deepening shadows enhances this...but what is going on down in front? Really found this distracting. Shot through a window? (7) ~mcmurma

The lighting works well, love the way you were able to capture the moisture on the apples.

Little confused about the right bottom of this pic. What's going on there? I like the water on the fruit. Left side seems a little too dark maybe. ~indigo997

I think I'd like this better if the apples were a little brighter.
