Wow! Thanks everyone for the kind and constructive comments during voting. A top 5 is quite a thrill! Several of you noted that the horizon was not exactly level. I'm going to have to add this to my list of things to look for before submitting :)

Brad, I posted a couple of comments on the team thread but I just wanted to go public and say kudos and congratulations on the great finish for this wonderful image. This won't be the only one but, you might want to try straightening the horizon to make the shot a bit more effective.

Beautiful lighting of the cloud and nice soft blending in the sky colors. Horizon feels just a tad tilted?

I'd rather have the sun and boat placed in the left third of the shot.

Beautiful sunset and the reflection around the cloud. You should be careful with the horizon line, though, to have it leveled.

Amazingly beautiful. The sky is lovely and the colors are stunning. what a wonderful capture. Your silhouette has just enough detail to be interesting rather than just black. Nicely done!

That is just gorgeous. The light on the edge of that cloud, with the variation of colours and the wonderful shapes, and the beautiful boat in almost full silhouette but with just a few details retained... and the blue of that cloud... it's just gorgeous.
