| Quite creative! To me this lemon slices look like UFOs floating in earths orbit. Very strange. Did you photograph this from below the waterlevel up into the sky? -stephan |

| Intriguing composition. I think the bottom half works better than the top. It might be more dynamic if some of this image was in focus eg. the slice at the bottom. Very good. |

| this is a really cool effect. my only gripes are the dusty surface and the ant. seems like it would have more impact if you really wiped the surface clean before taking the shot. also, parts of it seem a tad underexposed, but i realize it would be tough to keep those white cloud highlights from getting overexposed. might have benefited from a weak neutral density or polorizing filter. overall, good work. |

Gazing globe? How did you keep yourself out of the frame? (always my problem). The farthest lemon slice sort of kills the effect (shows your "trick").

| interesting concept..probably one of the more unique cutaway shots I have seen in a while. At first I marked down because I was getting tired of seeing puffy claoud shots but as the week wore on I got ove it :-) Some chromatic and pixelation/oversharpening artifacts kept this from a 10..still..very exceptional...9..hokie |

| Looks like another mirror trick. Love the ant. I like how you encoorperated him into the photo like he was suposed to be there. The fruit is very pretty. I like how the veins show. I wouldn't want to see the middle much brighter. The angle and framing is very nice. I like the fruit in the front. Overall interesting photo. Good luck in the challenge. ~HBunch7187~ |

| This is great... it's definitely one of my favorites this week. The bent horizon here gives me the impression that these lemon slices are floating in space gazing down on the planet... Great shot.. | This is quite a shot. At first glance it looks like a space picture with orbiting lemon slices… But then you spot the ant! I don't know if the ant is there by accident or was put there by design, but it's got me thinking. The presence of the ant gives it a surreal effect because on close inspection, it looks upside down… OK, that said, technically it's a good shot and it certainly meets the challenge… (9) |
