| Gaby I must thank you for your inspiration. I entered my photo of Sunflowers in a large regional newspaper photo contest here where I live and I won 1st place with it. That was out of a total of 879 entries. :) |

I loved your idea so much I decided to copy it with my wife posing as model. I painted the zebra stripe background on a large sheet of hardboard and that was more difficult then I had thought it would be. I found a pattern to copy from on the internet. Then I painted my wife's face. I could not get nice big sunflowers at the florist (only small one's as the season for them has not yet started) so I went to the garden center and found 3 nice big fake one's.
All in all it was a fun project. I hope you like it. I hope you don't mind that I copied your idea. :)

| I think you made the right choice for your challenge entry, as this is the best of the three photos, when compared to the outtakes. Excellent job - it's subtle, but the person isn't difficult to find. |

You deserve extra points for the body paint job too. wow. The outtakes are also very fun. I'd wouldn't find it easy picking between the three.
Only nitpick, with this shot, is his hairline being visible near the top right flower. |

You did an awesome job with this. From first thought to final production you nailed it.
Did you try any shots with the eyes behind the flowers or peaking through the flowers rather?

| cool :) I did something kinda like this once, but with spots. Yours turned out much better than mine though. I think its because the flowers are your subject, not the person, and the great contrast in pattern and color on b/w. That and I had to model it myself. Anyway, I really like this. Great job. |

Very nice idea, the only thing I wish is that the girasol cover the part of your hair. Also the sunflower needs to be a bit sharper.
Any way congratulations. I don't like to say here but you got a 10 from me because of your creativity.

I see images like this on DPC and I realise just how far I have to travel in terms of concepts and delivery of these ideas. Unique in the challenge and I couldnt even guess how you could improve this technically. My only possible comment would be I wonder whether with the eye shut rather than open whether you could have created an even more hidden person. Got a feeling I may well be seeing you on the front page in the next few days

| I expected to see a lot more of these kinds of images, but not done this well. Yours is quite good, with the lines of the background playing well over the surface and the flowers breaking them up with a splash of color. I wish the eye wasn't looking at me, but it's such a minor quibble I can't even dock you any points for it. 10. |
