I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am of this image and the finish!

It was very much a last minute entry using an image I'd taken of my daughter during the week.

I've NEVER done anything like this, and am REALLY PROUD of myself.

I'm turning 40 next month and had wished for a 7+ by then - it happened!

For those who want to know - it was a single image converted from RAW, curves, dodged, burned, and cloned out some extra bits of tree near her face. Used Liquify to change her face and then changed the colour of her face and jacket.

This is such a wonderful shot. I'm sure your daughter just loved what you did to her face. The liquify filter is an amazing tool.

Look at you woman! On a roll. This is the same location as Waldo too, right? Amazing job processing. I have to learn how to do that - my kids would think it cool of me to turn them into aliens lol. The original is also a beautiful photo.

I think you should wish a RIBBON for your 40th. You certainly have to be headed in that direction.

Lisa, what did you do to your little girl??? This was amazing. I thought it might win a ribbon actually. Hope your girl is not too traumatised by this. First you make em, then you wreck em like this :-)

Nice editing, and a great result. My only suggestion might be to dodge+USM some of the tree and vines to add a little more contrast and definition. Even still, great work. Perfect title too. Full marks.

8, lovely colours, it reminds me of ET or the Star Wars movie with the Ewoks in it. I have a little trouble relating the title to the image though

very creepy, I think I saw her on one of those grocery store mags. Nice concept, and it appears fairly well done. It's just missing something for me, and I can't quite put my finger on it, just feels... incomplete.
