| How did you suspend the lemon? I really like this photo and have to say that the background really does make a pleasant change from the obvious BLACK. Perhaps there is too much glare on the glass jug, but overall an excellent piece of work. Well-done! |

| Like the double lemon "drop" effect; also like the yellow tonality of the image. The image could be sharper; also the lighting could have been better controlled, i.e. the harsh reflections on the bottle. Creative idea. 8 Journey |

| I really like this arrangement. To me it demonstrates a keen sense of composition, arrangement, and artistic development. I think that it would be a top rated image if it were sharper and without the technical lighting problems, such as excessive reflections and blown out highlights. |

I like the whole yellowness of this shot. Its good how you appear to have got the lemon floating above the jug, and still kept a drop of juice on it. I have a couple of down points aswell. I think the glare on the jug is a bit too bright. True, it adds contrast to the piece, but I think it should be a little less bright. Also, the shadow on the lemon behind is green, and I think that takes away a bit from the prominently yellow photo. I'm not sure how you could have avoided this. One last thing, The whole photo seems slightly out of focus to me. Now this most likley is that when you resized the photo down, it caused a blur, even if the original photo was in perfect focus. Try adding a sharpen filter to it.

Wonderful! Makes me want some lemonade! Too bad the gradation in your background idn't completely smooth.. there's that dark spot on the right. Your image seems to have a slight green cast to it.. but that could just be my monitor..

| Beautiful yellow hue ... nicely consistent. The particular yellow you used supports the lemon concept wonderfully (as opposed to, say, buttercups or some other yellow thing). I like your light and shadows, the dry and wet, the smooth and dimpled -- all very nice contrasts, held together by a central theme. |

| I love the all yellow theam of this picture. Just a nit-pick, only because I've been hit hard with it in the last several challenges, the soft focus in the forground doesn't go over well on this site. One of my top ten. |

| One of my favorites. The bright reflections on the glass and lemon are the only real distraction. I like the continuation of yellow with the bg. The cork and front lemon seem a tad out of focus perhaps. ~indigo997 |

| Very nice. I have to ask, How did you suspend the lemon slice? For some reason, the cork seems soft, but the rest of the shot is crystal clear, so it must just be me. The drop from the slice is a wonderful touch. 9 Swash |

| I gave this a high (9) vote because the composition is great! and I liked how well it blended together.... but the only thing I didn't like was all the yellow (maybe because that was my least favorite color) But, if you were to use a different background color, I don't think I would have voted as High, so good job! (humans or so complicated aren't they??) |

| you instantly made it into my top 5 this week. the idea and the execution of it is just outstanding. i love that you chose a yellow background and how you suspended the lemon with the drop in the air. the arrangement of the other objects works well, too. one tiny nitpick would be the reflections in the bottle. -- gr8photos (10). |
