 First entry with my new 30D!! Woot!! lens is terrible i know, i plan on buying a new one when i can afford it, but this cost me a fortune for someone like me. But i'm glad to finally get a DSLR on my hands. I hopefully get a 5.0+

This really made me laugh. Love your lighting! Colors as quite subtle, NOT! I enjoy how the hint of pink in the model's lipstick matches the background. VERY creative. 7

love the bright colors.
i am sure i wont be the only one saying that the photo would have been even better if that tape was not visible. it doesn't bother me enough to hold back your score though.

I'm caught between the sharp, graphic nature of the shot, and the items that make this shot not work for me.

The colors, framing within the picture and sharp focus work well for you. The match of bg color with many post it notes works well.

The details, including the mismatch of color between shirt and bg, the unshaved neck, strange lighting (funny shadows), pink border and the tape around the head leave me cold.

It's obvious you have talent, but this shot didn't work for me very well.
