Caesar Creek Lake is world renowned for its fossils. This photo is just a very small glimpse from a display in a glass case located in the Visitor Center. The overall quality of the original photo is only fair, at best, so advanced editing could only do so much. Adobe Home Deluxe 4.0 and Adobe PS Elements 2.0. was used.
Noise filter applied, instant fix for color, jpeg clean up, cropped to 8 by 10, resized for submission, sharpened, touched up eyes by cloning from dark pixels within the photo.

Thanks for all the comments on my photo. The time in which these animals lived here is called the Ordovician Period. I think my main subject is a Trilobite.

Great shot! LOVE the pastel colors and the subject matter here (my best guess is a horseshoe crab amoungst sea anemones but I'm probably wrong on both accounts). I think the image could use a bit more contrast and color saturation. Nicely done, though.

The colors are bright, but the picture is not crisp. Good subject and really the overall composition is very good. The quality of the photo is just not where it needs to be, especially for this type of shot.

It's a little grainy, but your lighting is right on! The colors are great too! Nice work...

Nice colors. Can't really tell it is a tank of water! Very clear and sharp (from the subject back). Like the effect.

Nice use of DOF in this colourfull image. It's a little bright though and also too grainy. Otherwise well composed and captured.

Beautiful colors. Colors are so clear and clean. Is it a shot from an aquarium?

I've never heard of this sea! Great color pallet. Main subject looks a little soft (not sure where the other animals are - unless you mean the coral)

well framed and composed. Colors seem a touch off in some slight way. 8

Aquarium shots are tough. A bit noisy and a little overexposedin some areas. Nice job.
