good idea, but shot too close and appears very staged, hard to covey the sense of motion leading to the breaking the tape.

This is an interesting take. Not really my cup of tea, but not a bad shot. Nice detail on the shirt, but the tape is just a little blah...Not sure what I would have done. :)

Nice, tight crop. Good contrast and exposure.

A good illustration of triumph

A little too close in, I would have liked to see more of the subject breaking the tape

I don't really understand what the shot is about. Interesting.

Need to zoom out a bit on this one. If you hadn't said what it was I would still be scratching my head.

Seeing the triumph in the face would have been nice.

this tight crop doesn't tell the story, think a broader view would of worked better

Nice idea but didn't translate well into an actual shot. Very hard to make out what is going on. Why not show the whole (or at least more of) the runner?

Definitely tells the story - but it seems just a tad bit staged.

Interesting concept but without the title it would be hard to tell what it is supposed to be.

Did you really catch this? Or is there a piece of fishing line (dark thread?) that I can't see?

Good idea but I think I need to see more of the person.

Nice idea but without some movement in the tape it looks too staged and stiff.

Interesting idea. The crop is so tight, though, that I had no idea what I was looking at until I read the title.

Need more arm in this otherwise great idea. Hard to tell what was actually in the picture before studying it for a bit.
