I have actually goofed up on this one with the top left corner but this was the best pose of the entire shoot...

Got your note Tarique, but I still think her face is too hidden. A little peek would involve her more in the shot.

Tarique,

You deserved and got a good score with this entry. You clearly met the challenge. The set up was effective, even a touch sexy. There's a lovely softness on the model and the hint of nudity with drapery really lends itself to an ancient Greek theme.

Did you notice a rather strange top left corner? No, I'm sure you didn't.

Thanks to everyone for my highest till date score despite the obvious goof-up with the backdrop. Those of you who said they wanted to see more of the model - the intention of the picture was to evoke that that tantalising appeal... and want for more...

Nice softness and exposure. Critique: To much of the subject is being hidden, gives me a cheated feeling. Top left corner got missed (picky, picky, I know). Great vase.

Too much use of soft focus here IMO. Does convey a dreamlike state though.

I like the jug and the pose. They give the photo a classic look that goes well with the theme.

Artfully done

Good concept. I think the pose might have worked better if you'd been able to get more of a curve into her right arm and leg to mirror the shape of the pitcher - the angularity seems to detract from the whole.

Too bad about that corner not covered by the sheet. Nice soft focus and good lighting except for upper right corner

I think there was a good photo in this shoot. The forward foot really takes away from the shot. Also the left top corner is not draped. I liked the concept just not the composition. Fits the challenge well.

Would have cropped off that corner, otherwise.. beautiful!

Very Nice... including a little more of the Model may have made this picture appeal to me moreso.

Too soft focus for my tastes and lighting too strong. Interesting pose and props though.

This is an interesting pose. I might have tried smoothing out the background and adding some shadows with light sources to make the pisture enen more interesting.

The pose of the subject is very interesting, coupled with the soft look.

Why hide what looks like an appealing subject? Hiding her face actually spoils this composition and the foot in the foreground looks artificially large due to foreshortening! Aside from that I think it has the makings of a good shot, but I feel the absence of water means the link is tenuous and the weak composition replaced by soft focus technique.

The angle and position makes her foot look huge and I'm sure you know the problem with your background.
I like the idea but this comes off as a woman hiding behind a large vase.

The soft focus on this picture makes me want to give it a higher score. Very good picture

Very good shot. The pose of the model related to the beautiful prop and the soft focus gives it a lot. The lightning seems very good. The only thing that distracts is that the sheet dosent cover the top left corner (not sure everybody will notice).

ThIs is a very creative and wonderful interpretation - and except for the top left corner where the background fabric falls away it's darn close to perfect in my opinion. I quite like the low contrast and your DOF is lovely.

with work this could be a great photo - new background needed and new position of model..however, great pedicure :-) -4

Wonderful shot! The softness and b&w are very effective. The upper right corner is a bit distracting, but over all this is a very good composition!

Nice exposure. Backdrop doesn't cover upper left corner. Might have included some water, but the container seems to cover that OK. Portion of body to the right of the container is a little distracting. I like the soft feel of this photo.

Very good. Just the upper left showing is a bother. Love the pose/tone/jar/girl/focus and light. Nice job.

i'm sure no one has mentioned the problem here... otherwise its a great shot :)

i think this would be much better if the girl's face was visible...like the black and white effect

The upper left corner kept grabing my attention. However this is a nice shot.

Would be a 10 if it wasn't for the upper left corner, can see the wall. Otherwise a wonderful shot! As is a 9

I like the anonymity here with the girl, and I love the big jug. I think I would have liked to have seen her feet exposed slightly more to pick up her color. Nice doing it in black and white.

Love the soft focus on this image and the pose. Unfortunately you can see where you hung the backdrop. Nice image anyway I like it.

more of her face would have made this a better picture
