Just two glasses of coloured water which were one after the other lit by a flash lamp and it reflection captured on a white poster board.
I'm not very happy with the result, but had no other good idea then that.

Post processing:
whitebalance adjustment, slight tonale balance adjustment, cropping, removal of some small reflections on the glasses and water surfaces, resizing.

Great colors. Is the light reflection" from shining light through the glasses from below?

Would like more symetry in the two glasses (same height, tilt, light above)

One of the few in this category that has (I think) used one of the traditional definitions of "painting with light". Beautiful colours. It is only the tilt of the blue glass that does not seem quite right. I like the highlights - particularly the one catchlight at the top rim of the blue glass.

I used the same effect. Makes interesting colors on the wall, but I think it may have been nicer to see the entire stem.
