 Taken at the 24 Hours of Afton race.

I was experimenting with the effects of using a super wide angle while tracking the subject.

You really have to twist your body fast when you are only two feet away from the subject doing 15 MPH.

Thank you everyone for voting on my image. This was my first entry after being a member since before I got my d70 years ago. I am very pleased with my results and am glad I finally entered a pic.

The effect was caused by using a really wide angle lens (a 10mm on a d70) and being close to the rider.

Excellent wide angle motion pan! I did one very similar to this for the motion panning challenge, but it wasn't as good as this one. The background is perfect and the panning has all the important bit sharp. Well done
