 Inspired by an old Vogue magazine cover.
The braids are actually a rope painted black and coiled around my models face.

I love the texture of the rope against the model's soft face.

Thanks so much to everyone who voted, commented and looked at my shot. There were so many great images in this challenge, I am thrilled to have placed so well. Thanks to my model for putting up with my crazyness. 20 feet of freshly painted black rope coiled around her face... I know it sounds exotic but it was not much fun.

neat! I was about to say I saw this in a vogue collection but there you had it in the info! lol. This was an image that stood out to me as being so strange and radical. lol. Nice take on the challenge.

The concept is good. I am a bit alarmed by the eyes though. She looks un comfortable and surprised. I feel a more relaxed natural smile and inviting eyes would make this an outstanding photo.

Wow! What a fresh lovely face to fill a frame! I also love the contrastng textures of that rough rope against her soft glowing skin.
