gorgeous! i tried taking jellyfish photos once and they turned out nothing like this! congrats on a fabulous capture! 10--amitchell

I love this shot. The colors are great and it's a great concept for the challenge. The two fish seperated really gives the image depth. There's maybe a little too much vingetting in the lower corners would be my only real improvement. Great shot. 10 - chrisab.

One of my favorites this week -- very impressive! Nicely composed with awesome colors. Hope you didn't get stung in the process! -9

great shot! I know you cannot do it on this site, but when you clean up some of the white flecks you will have an even more amazing photo

This is incredibly beautiful! I love the delicacy of the jellyfish and the vivid colours. The space gives the sense that these are drifting freely in the water. I've given out so many 10s this week, but this is stunning, so here goes another one - lisae

Nice shot ... the specs of "stuff" visible in the upper left are a bit annoying, but too bad you couldn't edit those out ;) Good shot, and good use of negative space -8

The colours in this are simply stunning - that cobalt blue against the orangey yellow with the white trails... This would be an 8 for me if the white and blue marks at the top left were cleaned, which I appreciate you can't spot edit for DPC entries, but have no doubt already done for your own master copy? I also like the composition very much.
7, Kavey

Great shot, when you are "allowed" to spot edit, I would take out the flecks (other jellyfish?) in the deep blue water. I hope you put some good technical details in this, I want to know how you did it. 8 - MarkRob

I absolutely love the vivid colors! The framing is very nice, and I like how the blue gradates into black below. (Was this taken through glass? If so, you did a terrific job of eliminating glare.) I’d like to see a stronger use of the negative space, but I’m not sure what to suggest. It’s been a difficult week for voting, mainly due to my wildly subjective interpretations of the challenge. Attractive photo, though, in any case! 7

Stunningly beautiful color. Outside of DPC, I'd recommend cloning out the floating stuff at the upper left, but I'm not taking points off for it in the score.

I love these jellyfish--I'm not sure whether they are the same as the ones in Cape Town if not they look very similar and they are so hard to photograph well---so very well done---andrewm

Incredible colors! Great composition and use of negative space. The plankton above the jellyfish is a little 'noisy-looking.' For some reason it doesn't bother me when it's below the jelly but it does when it's above..go figure :P 9 Lisa

I always wondered how people get pictures of them lit up like this. When I lived in Okinawa one of the beaches had a ton of jellyfish in the water and the where just ugly brown things. This one is beautiful. Is this taken at an aquarium or with underwater stuff for your camera? I'll just have to find out on Sunday. 8

Too bad you had a few speckles in the upper left corner, however I'll give you a 10 because it is so breath taking.

It's is shame we can't touch up areas. the white spots and the dark one should be removed. Then this would be better than great. It is nice. 9

excellent colors! good focus for such a low light shot! i like how the one in the back seems like a satellite of the other .. unique in that the neg space isnt the same color as many. as a marine biologist, i find this pic intriguing .. did u push the saturation on these moon jellies? the ones ive seen havent been so yellow. too bad about your hot pixels ;) .. mag99.

i'm not too thrilled with the title, but then, this is not a title contest. as for use of negative space, i think you've used it very well, better than many (including myself) in the challenge. the composition is great, and even though there are a couple of specs in the photo, i know how hard aquarium (or under water?) photography is, and it's nothing you can't fix once the challenge is over. i love the yellow and blue colors. definitely in my top 5 this week. -- gr8photos (10).
