 i don't have a clue how i came up with this idea, it just happened...
i wanted to have a different backgroud but did'nt get something too cool, so i just went with the plain black bg.
editing is only advanced, i'm really that limber! ;)

thanks for the great feedback, i was'nt sure how this one would finish, but well, it did better than i thought it would.

...and who wants to give me the posthumous blue ribbon for the shot with most views during voting? muhaha ;)

I looked at this again before reading the comments and one thought I had was how much I liked your choice of two different colours in lighting, and how seamlessly they melded. I think it adds a whole extra dimension.
Then I read how many didn't like it!

You have to hate when that happens, huh? Nice light, nice photoshop work, though not sure on the fading to blue part. Definitely an interesting picture!
