Oh! Such a shame to see your DQ!!!!! It's still a lovely image and I'm sure you'll get the hang of the details as you get more and more familiar with DPC. Hang in there and keep up the beautiful work!

Really well executed, Nilesh. I've never tried to do this, so I have no idea how hard it is, but however hard it is, you've pulled it off beautifully. Congrats!

Thanks to all of voters & commentators for this image. Anyone can imagine how happy I am!! :) Belive me this shot was taken without tripod.
I Hope my original file submission didn't find any excuse this time because I tried to follow all the rules while processing under basic editing. I am so worried because already I have lost my first red ribbon in "Brown" challenge.

Well no offense but the least original of the ribbon winners today as I have seen this (or photos that have a drop in focus and backround out of focus behind it) shot before, BUT... It´s very well done technically and meets the challenge head on and I haven´t been able to take a shot like this yet and I have tried so very well done :)

Congrats!

WOW. That is cool how the flower is in perfect focus inside the drop. One of my faves!

I love the way the blurred background is actually the "in focus" subject at the same time. Well planned and well executed. Good job.

How surprising! Great concept and very nicely executed. Not the kind of shot I expected to see in this challenge but I think it works beautifully. The background does enhance the subject, IMO, by echoing it softly back and at the same time drawing my eye back in to the reflection in the drop. Cool :-)
