I wouldn't have known this was a frog had you not put it in the title. This interpretaion of impressionism does not speak to me. My feeling about impressionism, is you are able to recognize the subject...it just has a lot of texture and brush strokes. |

Interesting play on light and color, with the subject remaining identifiable. The impressionist art I have seen focuses on the play of natural light, so I struggle with the role of 60's black-light poster effects in the setting of this challenge. Point for creativity, counterbalanced by my not liking those posters much in the first place. Then extra point for making me think (a good function for art). |
