Shadows are some of my favorite subjects. This is wonderful. I love the warm orange light and the naked trees as a backdrop. Is your camera hanging around your neck?

I changed my rating a little higher after looking at this again. I paid more attention to the compposition and I liked the way the shadow mimics the the tallness of the trees in the photo.

Very nice with natural rich colors. Great perspective.
(Just a nit...the very top branches of the trees in the foreground draw my eye and distract from the subject. I would crop the top.)

The long shadow makes your eyes follow it toward the trees and the sky. This really helps to make the composition very interesting. Kind of interesting that all subjects :shadow, the grass, the trees all seem to be reaching up toward the sky. "8"

Good scenic setting and a good, tall shadow. The tall trees and the tall shadow seem to go well together. But where are the tree shadows?
