Challenge: Still Life With Motion (Advanced Editing V)
Camera: Canon EOS-5D
Lens: Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0L IS USM
Location: Virginia, US
Date: Sep 22, 2007
Aperture: f/4.0
ISO: 500
Shutter: 1/125s
Galleries: Still Life, Blur
Date Uploaded: Sep 22, 2007

Put a lot of thought into this one - sketched out the concept first, and spent time assembling "rough drafts" to test out which lens to use, exposure, angle, etc. After a week of thought and experiment, I set up the final arrangement and shot it on Saturday. Not that I don't put effort into my other shots, but this is definitely the most work so far I've put into any of my submissions (at least the planning and shooting side of it). Shot at 200mm.

Hope you like it!

This is quite good. Worthy of a front page editorial in any Arts and Cuisine mag/paper in the country. It's just the kind of photograph I hope/seek to achieve every time I engage the shutter release.

Well look at you!!! Congrats on the top 10 and a very good score - I'd say your effort paid off. And this was something I kinda thought of doing, too, except I would have done it with rocks since I don't have any dishes or stuff. :-) Nicely done!
