 Opened in Capture NX set Black point and curves adjustment.
Opened in photoshop, crop, brightness & contrast, cloned the shadow on the background a little and a little of the highlight on the table, USM, re-size & save for the web.

I wonder if this wouldn't have worked better with a slightly shorter exposure....perhaps 1 sec. There's just a little too much ghostliness in the cook's hand for my liking.

Still, well composed and lighted.
