Fruit bowl at work, side window lighting with overhead fluorescents. Isaac pulled on the thread attached to the grape stem on my count to create the motion blur.

-Handheld, super-macro mode, shutter-priority mode
-Cloned out thread and touched up some hot reflections on the tomato and lime
-RGB Curve

Clever title. Technicals while ok is holding it back. Perhaps just a change in composition would have helped greatly. Shooting from above as you did here, almost always comes across as too ordinary.

Nice detail showing. Strong colors, but not overdone.

Not sure what is trying to escape, the eye is automatically drawn to it whatever it is,nice colours in the lime and tomatoe.

The tomato is a bit washed out. Great movement in the flying grape.

Dull composition, and it's hard to tell what the moving object is.

You have a still life, and you also have the motion with blur. Both of those are the most important aspects of this challenge to me. However, a few attention to details could have really improved this shot.
Clean the plate of dust or clone the spots out. I don't mind the crack on the plate, gives it a rustic appeal. clone out the spot on the tomato and lime. and a better dof would help. the focus seems to be in the wrong spot. Its just barely nipping the lime. you have some good left side light going but it is a little flat. You want to see a highlight on the tomato. The red of the tomato is overpowering the image. Red is aggressive and doesn't need to take up that much space on the shot. a plum tomato or a grouping of cherry/grape tomatoes would have been enough. Some things to think about on your next go.
