This is looking at the front of a 1936 or 1937 supercharged Cord 810 series. Half of the coffin nose in on the right side of the picture. The car is dark brown, and the left 2/3 is the reflection on the mirror-like surface of the inner curve of the right front fender - you can see 1/2 the outline of the hidden headlight in the bottom left of the shot.

The 1936, 1937 Cord 810 / 812 was hailed as the most sculpted auto ever, and still stands as one of the most distinctive auto designs of all time. It was radically different than its contemporaries, with hidden headlights, enclosed radiator, and front wheel drive.

This was taken at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival Parade finale, as the cars were parked around the courthouse square. You can see the courthouse reflected in the bottom left of the picture.

I especially appreciated the comments from those who did not know what it is, but were open minded enough to enjoy it anyway.

The refelction looks a bit grainy, but I like your idea. Vehicle reflections can be fun to photograph.

This just confused me. Can't tell what I'm looking at.

I love your abstract framing. If I can't glance at it and tell what it is, then I consider it a plus!! Awesome image

Low vote, really had to work hard to figure it out, i guessed truck right away but to determine what the photo is trying to convey or show i still can't aside from a reflection and really diff perspective that doesn't work.

Not sure of the composition but I guess that's because I can't quite see what you're showing me. There's a bit of artifacting in the balck in the lower center of the shot, around the silver lines.

I think some more processing would have done this image better. Has a somewhat interesting abstract feel to it but maybe just a bit heavy on the blue tones throughout.
