This was actually an accidental happening when I was leaving my mother-in-law after an ugly bout with her Alzheimer's. She's at this place, and these gals are a stone HOOT!!!!

They're just overgrown kids doing pretty much whatever they want all day long. I love 'em!

I really like your b&w conversion, and the use of b&w for this subject seems very appropriate: a gray life of the graying women. What I love to see is that, except for the front woman, they all look so normal, bright eyed, and happy. I'm glad the voters appreciated it as it deserved.

Ooooh, Jeb, sorry you juuuuust missed your top 5. But it's a very fun shot, and I really appreciate your showing the spark in the older set, given all the young people chosen as models for this challenge. Congrats on the top 20!

quite a fun shot. Not overly keen on the BW conversion you have got going on here, would of been nicer with a bit more contrast. Try using the channel mixer to convert shots to BW, this has a feel of a "convert mode to grayscale". not a bad effort, I'd expect this to finish mid-table somewhere. 6

I simply love it. Woderful porttrait. Great light, great models (realy I love this ladies, they look so kind) Great light and detail. The composition is superb. Bumping it to 10.

Love the expressions. Nice lighting and contrast, although you might want to tone down the walker in the foreground.
