Powerful shot. My 5 year old son really likes this. The picture clearly communicates a story.

That's sort of funny, until it happens. I almost lost a good buddy of mine on a climbing fall where the rope almost broke like that. The outter shroud got ripped and the inner rope puffed like that, but not so bad. Scared the crap out of both of us.

Ok composition, but too much light in upper left and not enough at lower right. White part of rope is overexposed

Good Job! says it all...Letting go! great job with sharpness and textures. The color in the line is just right and I like the way you framed your shot. this should do well I think:) 9

Hehe! very clever, the more I look at it the more I see the Frayed Octopus strap, but it looks good at first. I had the Idea of letting someone go over a cliff but it was to hard to pull off.... done well.

Lighting is way off, and it's more of a upcoming danger, or an accident shot then it is letting go.

That would suck...

Shame there is obviously no tension on the rope!

Great idea (strong enough for a good score despite the following suggestions.) Exposure is a little off, but you chose a tough scene with the bright and dark regions. The focus could have been sharper as well.

It's a bit grainy, a little over exposed the white part maybe, and a hand hanging on it might of had a good effect. (I didn't thought I'd say this after all the hands I seen in this challenge but this picture kind of asks for one). Other than that good ideea. 7

a very cool way to carry out this idea.

bad exposure - the top is overexposed, the cliff side is underexposed. the exposure issue is very distracting

that looks more like whoever is on the end of that doesnt have the choice to let go or not. maybe your saying that they have to let it go with the knowledge that they're screwed. haha good one
