I like the shallow DOF and the detail in the wings, old "shell" and wood. I think the image feels a little tightly cropped at the top.

A great capture! Very good for the theme as well. It's cropped in a little closely at the top; I would like to have seen more of a sense of depth.

I have to admire the details in this photo as well as it's originality. It has that "ick" factor but you have to appreciate the beauty of it all none the less. Illustrates the challenge so well. Great job! Good luck!

great picture havent seen a locus bug since I was a little girl..... Me and my cousins used to collect the old shells, and crush them in our hand it was meant for "good luck".
