 My new G7 is a great little macro camera - if a little lacking in the sensor department.

Shot in shutterspeed mode in bright sun, I wanted to guarantee a motionless insect and tried, without much success, to catch some frozen-wing action. However, this bee was beautifully lit and struck me as the quintessential image of natural interaction.

I've not been very creative recently relying instead on 'reality' photography as a form of therapy for the creative demands of my job!

Wonderful! my favorite bug macro from the challenge. The colors and lighting are very soft and eye pleasing. For f2.8 the point of focus is excellent. Great skill you have there.

That Bee is amazingly sharp, well done. The crop is rather tight but the DOF and colors are good.

There we go, here's my 10 shot. Been looking for it. Lovely composition. Great clarity and sharpness. A top 5 IMO. Colors are great also. Well done and good luck.

I loved the bee, and his gorgeous 'coat' but might have cropped it slightly shorter to avoid the distraction of the out of focus in the forefront.
