Love the creativity here. This is truely outside the box:-}

The lighting is great and the use of colour stands out with the black background. The DOF is spot on and there is a nice warm tone to the shot, nice work.

Did you actually hammer the pencils in or just glued them on top? Very creative image, definitely one of a kind. The color looks a bit odd on my monitor. The cut-off finger is a bit distracting, too but I love the light on the hammer. Well done.

One of the most creative ideas in this challenge. Execution is good, I wish you had not blown out the right thumb though.

:-) I like it. Good composition. The solid black background doesn't detract, if anything it makes the colored pencils pop even better. Good lighting too. I hope this does well in the challenge for you.

I probably would have taken out the thumb on the the hammer from the picture.. It's the only thing the lighting is off on.. the rest makes a nice pic..
