No matter how this ends up - I am truly PROUD of how I approached this image - it was a learnging assignment I set myself - GRIN!

I was wandering about the city - had just taken what was, what I thought a BRILLIANT image for this challenge, when I noticed this setting inside a building. I was so enchanted by the inner scene that I didn't even notice the reflection the foliage made.

Waited patiently for someone to enter or exit the lifts to the left - this man made the perfect model - clicked off a shot and then quickly hid my camera as he glared at me - oops!

Got home uploaded the image and WOW - juxtaposition or what?

Nature over man, nature reflecting man made structure, and nearly desat over colour - YUMMY!

I'm pretty sure it will mostly get misunderstood, but I am so proud to have noticed this place.

Oh and VERY little processing was needed - just a teeny bit of levels, selective colour and slight sharpen - crop and resized - COOL!

congrats on top 20. It suggests to me, brave new world. I think because the green looks like a computer chip. Sorta a melding of nature and intelligent design. futuristic looking for sure.

This is FANTASTIC! I'm glad I saw this one. Absolutely first-rate. I can only say "ditto" to what yanko said, and add that the luminosity of the image is startling. Well done!

I was pedantically, stupidly and not at all untypically upset by thinking that this should be superimposition rather than juxtaposition. Seems like I gave it a 7 anyway, probably because it's altogether too rare to see great pictures created out of light and circumstance. Looks like you're about to be included in one of our little back street halls of fame, too. Double-congrats then.

Isn't this great? What I see here is a man(kind) walking away, oblivious to the beauty that surrounds him. His wondrous machines fill the frame with pride while nature fills the remaining gaps. It's now just a reflection, an echo of it's former self yet it surrounds man, protecting him with unconditional love, a mother's love, a gaia's love to be sure.

Had I voted this would have received my highest vote. Congrats on a wonderful image and a fine score to boot!

I like the suggestion of the struggle between the corporate world and nature. Nice capture on the reflection.

this is one of the not obvious entries for this challenge - pretty simple and still - interesting poit of view :) I wonder if little bit more of the floor with reflection would make it better?
