This is the first photograph of any animal in my portfolio (If you count me as human enough). This challenge is one of the rarest challenges where I went out to shoot specially for the challenge. And I did put efforts on postprocessing. Probably my second entry where I worked with dodge and burn. (First effort was Oct-07 free study that fetched me 6.39).
My take on this photo:

Technicals, exposure: good
Composition: good
Wow: little bit.
Art value: I think this is good photo but not something I would call art. Because this is another of one of thousands of animal photos. (So this photo is just for the sake of update button)

Wow, this photo is really nice. To me, it seems a little sharp, but it works well here. Great composure, and lighting. Great Job.

I really like your composition here, however I would have loved to see the cats face. It is edited very well, I love the tone and what seems to be a slight tone map. Nice work.

Very cool shot, I love the PP and the tone. I will ay that the outline of the cats face almost gets lost in the background though causing a bit of a distraction. Still a nice shot!

I like the textures here - the cat's fur, the wall behind. Toning is well chosen for this shot.

In your B&W conversion, if it were possible to give greater seperation between the big cat and the rocks then that would have been better. As it is, the tones of the rocks are very similar. Having the rocks much darker to make the main subject stand out more would have been more dramatic. The head is dead center, composition wise, it maybe would have been better more to the left given it is looking to the right
