This is in the North Atrium of the Georgia state capitol (basically at the top of the stairs in the previous two days' photos). That's a bust of Oglethorpe, who founded the Georgia colony at Savannah in 1733. The lamps are always there, also (you can see more of them in my Capitol collection). The garland, ribbon, and poinsettias are part of the many, many Xmas decorations around the building.

There is a lot going on in this shot. I like how the banister in the back jumps out, the bust fits nicely. I'm thinking the lights might be a tad bit hot as they are loosing some of their detail and the brightness keeps drawing me back to them away from the other sub-subjects of the shot.
