In the cattery today taking photos for the website. Some people were looking to adopt a kitten so I introduced them to this gorgeous little tabby. You could see him decide that this was his new people, he wanted them to take him home ..... and they did.

I wish I had time to spend with the animals capturing these moments..... just have to grab them when I can.

Well this has inspired me to make my first photo comment. Perfection. The expression in the kittens eyes.....you have captured it exquisitely. Makes me glad I got my 3 kitties from shelters.

The connection between the kitten and the person who holds it is so strong! Beautiful and indeed touching.

This is SO precious, & should DEFINITELY be hanging on a wall at the cattery. I think I'd like to get involved with the local spca with all these pet-loving pics floating around! I'm glad the little guy found a happy home.

Very touching, and really good timing to get it so that his eyes weren't obscured by the bars.

I'm not going to bother with any analysis of this shot. It's just too perfect. It's hard to imagine that I'll see a better photo all year.

omg...this is BEAUTIFUL beyond words! The look in the cat's eyes is priceless. It shows us how intelligent and feeling animals really are. This is stunning Sue, simply stuning. I love cats and I agree with Shez this moves one to tears. Bless you for helping the cast-out felines in this world.

This should become a poster for cat shelters.

The first thing I thought of was you need to tell the person to use hand sanitizer before s/he touches another cat LOL! I think I've had to say that to one too many people when we had upper respiratory virii travelling through the cat room. Got new condos, though, and the problems have pretty much disappeared. I'll have to get a shot of them.

Oh, and your shot is wonderful, and perfectly captures one of those moments that make it worth working in a shelter :-)))

I like the cage makes you feel the kittens imprisonment.

WOW this really cuts me up and so so emotive.....

You often bring tears to my eyes dear friend....

I often wonder what it would be like doing a job like yours as it could be very emotional, but also very rewarding when you see something like this in your daily work.

I am so proud of you and thank you for sharing your everyday life with us.....

You are a very special person in many ways......

Just PURRRFECT.....
