 Sierra is a young girl who is from Alaska.. She has a tomboy appearnace and attitude....and has all the boys doing "as she says". She is a smart girl...very smart....and wants to be an attorney when she grows up, or a dog musher. Sierra is 11 years old.

This image was shot using natural light only. I sat Sierra on a cement driveway which acted as a natural reflector for the light. I shot this image about 30 minutes prior to the sun setting. Alot of dodge and burn on her coat to give it an almost silver appearnace.

Wow - I picked this one first out of the series as I loved the wintery look that made me think of where I am....in Alaska. Then I read the details and see this is an Alaskan. Sweet!

I do love the image. I like the feel I get from it. I also think you did awesome bringing out the eyes.

Fantastic portrait! Technically well executed and it shows a lot of your subject's character.

If I had to offer any critique, I would like just a little more space around her right eye (left of frame). This is very picky and it really doesn't take away from the image, it's just an opinion if it helps.

wow she is adorable. I love freckles! The only change I'd make which is really me being neurotic is the fringe going over her eye.
