This is one of the few photos in this challenge that really feels silent. Excellent.

Very good image. Did you shoot from the same or similar angel and focus on the chain thats farther away and therby let the nearer chain out of focus? Just wondering how it would look like.

very nice rustic & moody shot. Good dof & composition. The crop seems a bit tight to the bottom but very good nonetheless.

Emptiness, desolation, worn out and abandoned... bang on for the theme. Don't like the red colour toning.

Very good DOF and a very interesting choice for toning color. :)

I like the way you captured this image. The layout is great and I love the use of DOF and the sepia-type colour. Good luck!

I like the composition in this one, but I don't care for the reddish tone. I thought about doing a shot like this, and you've captured what I thought would work well, but the tone overpowers it I think.

Great sepia tone. That and the weathering of the wood give an impression of a deserted playground, abandoned and silent.

Nice image. Kind of sad indeed. I like the redscale and the depth. The age of the wood enhances the number of years these have seen action and what is not there now.

good use of dof and monochrome. would like a bit of space under the front edge of the swing

I had the exact same idea for this challenge, but wound up doing something else instead. So obviously I like your concept very much! :) I'm not sure about the edge of the swing being right at the edge of the frame, but for the most part I really like the composition. Good focus and use of depth of field. The tones seem somewhat pixelated and chunky - of course, with the basic editing rules you're unable to fix things like that, though, so no marks down for that. Overall I like it quite a bit. Definitely has the feeling of "silence".

certainly meets the challenge but there is too much in the surround that is distracting

I love the color and idea. I wish there was a little more of the image at the bottom...
