Now Doc, you know I have first call on these sort of shots ;-)
To be honest I'd have been proud to take this image, it is simply beautiful. The colours in those rocks and the blue/green water is what really makes it. Most of the waterfalls around here are from peaty moorland and tend to be 'tea' coloured so its nice to see something different.
Never got round to tasking one myself, I was in San Antonio and there's only the plastic riverwalk which was never going to compete against an image of this quality.
Congrats my friend, well done.

| HDR constitutes my least favourite images at DPC. Hence, I am happy to see that you do not have to resort to it to gain good exposure and colours, as you managed in this fine photo. It was well worth the trip, ribbon or not... |

| The foreground rocks really add a lot to this scene. Foreground water retains a bit of texture in the flow, too, which I personally prefer. Colors are not overdone and the composition is very nice. |

| The rocks in the foreground are awesome. I don't care for the way the falls fit into the upper left area. Maybe a tighter crop up there, but then you would lose some of those great rocks as well. I'm being excessively picky, there, because this is a great shot. |
