the blown out background is really quite effective here...I love the indecisive body language and the small swell of a wave behind her..
very interesting shot...

I really like the yellow contrast of the shot and how the subject is engaged with the viewer. Also you have some wonderful interest/lines throughout the photo.

It's interesting to me how many commenters completely missed the point here. Collectively, they'd have the photographer remove or alter literally every element of the image that gives it its eerie, otherworldly presence, its sense of isolation and ennui. Helluva shot.

Excellent. The nondescript yellow object that the model is holding really makes this photo stand out.

I love this photo! I love it just as it is, with the story it tells, the almost humans playing in the background, your subject almost being pasted on top of this otherworldly scene, the isolation you've provided with light, color, distance. What a great abstraction thrown in as the background to what is otherwise pure practicality. Delightful! I've nominated you for an OOBIE, great stuff!

the subject (the girl) is small.it should cropped.

I like the idea, but it's OOF and washed out. Maybe a tighter crop showing just the girl and tide pool?

very strange contrast around model and top 3rd washed out

The area with the children seems very bright, it's a little distracting.

Focus is not sharp, the colors look off.

This almost feels like two photos, one stacked on the other, with the extreme differences in exposure. You may have exposed correctly for the primary subject in the foreground which resulted in the bg kids getting blown out...that's understandable, but I think I would have tried for another angle or POV on this. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

The background is too washed out , too much details lost

Nice photo, but I personally don't find the blown out background to be overly appealing. Instead of isolating the subject, it drawns my eye to the background.

a good looking lady in a nice yellow dress great idea for a photo. A couple thing to consider though. Maybe bringing the model to a nice sandy part of the beach would have been nice. The title of this photo is isolated even though there are a bunch of people in the background. If you wanted to isolate this subject which would have been more effective then you should have maybe asked the person if they wouldn't have minded going to a more quite place on the beach. Also the highlights in the wave are completely blown out. I don't know what kind of camera was used but it seems like the photo was maybe taken on a low res mode because it is very pixely. Please don't get upset i am just trying to give you some information to go by to maybe improve your images a bit more.

The image is (way) overexposed in the upper part for my taste here.

The girls foot is cut off and the background is really blown out.

Has potential, but the whites are washed out a bit. Good yellow, though.
