This is the Pink Lake outside of Ottawa...it's extremely still and fairly clear. This was taken in October at the height of the Canadian (or is it Canadien?) autumnul color change. Very pretty.

Yes, this is upside down. I'm sure that all of you figured that out, though. Aside from the flip, the image was cropped, had curves, levels, a bit of hue/sat, and some USM. The problem is that the reflection of the trees makes them not so sharp...looks kinda muddy (no pun intended).

This is one highly under rated photo! I am sure tha tvoters though you tweaked the rules and cheated you out of higher votes and that is a shame. This is awesome and you deserve to be congratulated on such a fine image.

One of my favourites of the lot. Inventive and fantastic colours that really combine well with the textures.

Very nice reflection! I believe that a slight noise reduction (2 pix dia)may have produced a benifical softening effect.

That is some really smooth water! Very cool. I like the upside down presentation.

I like this very much. You did a great job around the trees.

Splendidly terrific! The only minor nit-pick I have is the horizon is slightly crooked. But otherwise, I love the colors, bright contrasts, and of course, the sheer cleverness of the whole thing. :)

The flipped relection does indeed look like meteors. Well done.

The potential of this scene was well spotted and processed very effectively.

At first (and this is a quick run through view) I thought you'd taken advantage of the 'new rules', but it seems this is all a reflection flipped. Nice and grows on you - like the composition, just wish that the symmetry was there/it was straightened (as I can see the edge of the reflection at the bottom).

Very creative image, however just simply using the tree and the sky would have been better. The fall colours are beautiful and I am sure you could have punched up the sky. Good Luck. 4.

It is still illegal to combine images from a different scene...but in case this was done in a legal way that I have not figured out.. here is a 7.

This is either a very clever camera trick beyond my powers of understanding or it doesn't really meet the rules. If you've genuinely taken this without moving the camera kudos. Either way it's a cool shot and a nice idea.

That's hysterical. At first I was thinking WTF is a photomerge doing here, then I realized the tress are reflections and you've flipped this sucker. Or I hope so anyway :-)
