It really was raining on my trip to SF. I'll probably get hammered for having my challenge object blurred out, but I like the depth it adds to the seagulls in the foreground. This is one of my rare shots which I didn't crop. I adjusted the exposure up, desaturated (the whole image) a bit, and bumped up the contrast.

This is a great shot for the challenge! I was drawn in from the thumbnail in your portfolio. Seeing this fully is awesome! Given the challenge requirements, this is under-rated!

An interesting choice for this challenge. The score probably reflects the lack of focus on the actual architecture, but I think it's a great image beyond the challenge. Definitely has an artistic feel to it.

Geez! Why did this score so poorly?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I love this!!!!

Actually this is the Bay Bridge, with Treasure Island in the background.

I just saw this. Wow this is great one of the most unique photos of the golden gate bridge I've every seen. Sorry it didn't do better in the challenge.

Hmmm, surprised this did not do better. Very good synergy between the bridge and the birds. It is like architecture reflected in nature. Kind of a bummer on the score. Well thought out and a good fit for the challenge.

Oh this is really nice - I like it! I love how the one bird is in focus and then both kind of balance out the two support towers of the bridge. The colortone is perfect for the misty, blurry scene.

I think this is an excellent use of architecture to set off the primary subject. I don't agree that the architecture must be the focal point in order to meet the challenge. I like this composition and the DOF.

I really like the duplicity of the shot.

How odd - I could have sworn I commented on this. I was one of your 10s - thought it was nicely creative for the challenge, and shot well. This did not deserve so low a score.

I like the different approach to the challenge that you took. Very nice. I might like a much thinner border (or none at all). Gave this 7 earlier.

Nice contrasts between the two.

Great DOF, but to much about birds than architecture to me

The subject here seems to be much more the bird(s) than the architecture.

This isnt immediately what jumps to mind when I think architecture, but I like the alternative subject. Great DOF and I think the muted colors work very well.

I really like this even though as an image it is not quite the epitomy of "architecture".
