 A friends boston terrier. I was taking pictures outside before I came in and took this so my lens was foggy I think it gave the picture a nice soft feel. I used a layer of oil in boiling water a few varations of the imagine blended with a blank layer with some circular black lines........I also made a version that I gave a aged look to by making a desate version blending and using the sharpen tool on the dogs face to make it pop out a bit.

I have a preference for this color version - something about the rich blacks and the contrast of the table legs with the blue of the wall - very tasty. The colors just make all the elements distinct. I love this effect - like you're viewing him through the bottom of a soda bottle. Gives it an indefinable quality -like he's both sharp and soft at the same time.
