 Boy I had tons of trouble picking a shot for this week. This is what I ultimately decided on. I like the colors of the plane. Taken at PDX on a road which parallels the runway. The great thing about this shot is if you zoom in, the pilot is looking straight at me.

The best thing about this shot? Handheld at 1/40th with the the 300mm f/4 IS lens. Pretty sweet if I say so myself. ;)

Post: Thanks for the ribbon. To those who said it was oversharp, I think you are reacting to the absolutely terrible jaggies on the top of the plane. There wasn't much I could do about it in basic editing. :(

Congrats! Did you get surrounded by the SWAT team after that shot cuz the pilot radioed the tower to report a suspicious looking guy with a big white tubular object pointed at planes? ;)

niceeeeeeeee.. I was thinking about the exact same location for this challenge but I dont think I could have got anything close to urs..but I should go there this weekend and try something ..... Love your picture again

Amazing shot - where is PDX? Looks like it could have been taken down the road from where I live - at Skyharbor PHX. I love how you captured color in this shot too. I didn't get to vote in this one but it deserves the high score it received.

How crystal cclear this photo is really makes it amazing. The plane is almost a seperate picture from the background even though they both have amazing colors.

The shot is oversharpened and has a green cast to it. Nice actual pan, though.
