Good to see you participating again, Beau. During voting I wondered where I had seen this guy before... Took me some time to figure out the title, now it's too late - not easy for non-americans to get the correct pronounciaton.

loved this one, was hoping it would have done better... but that's the people on this site for ya.

Nice composition. I find the reflection in his eye to be distracting.

This is an amazing portrait. I just don't get the title though with the picture. I love the BW on this one, the softness dissolving into sharpness of his eye and whiskers. Handsome bloke 8

nice portraiture, like the eye ;-)

Nice shot

Awesome composition...: )

Well done love your tonality here it is dead on. The (2) white spots on his eye are a bit of a distraction, don't know if they are dead pixels or what but they distract from the image somewhat.

omg sexy....

Great shot - he does look two'n'tens. LOL
02/20/2008 08:35:42 PM
very very nice, I just wish that the eye wasn't obscured by the soft box (or whatever that is).
02/20/2008 07:45:59 PM
I love the sharpness in the eye and the slight oof elsewhere. great photo

I don't think I get your entry, with the title =s... but it's a hell of a good portrait, I love the hat, the jacket, the black and white conversion, the grain, and the eye contact is very strong!

lovely shot... the eye(s) got me! ;)
02/19/2008 09:53:23 PM
Intense stare, but I'm not getting it.

Absolutely intense. A very strong image. I love the b&w conversion, the light, and especially the beautiful line of the hat.
02/19/2008 12:12:52 PM
Good soft lighting. Seeing the soft box in his eye is a little bit distracting and I know that there is probably noting you could do about that.

This is a nice composition and nicely lit model. Wish I understood the title???
02/18/2008 09:06:27 PM
Great photograph- without the title, don't get the misunderstanding. Let you photo speak the challenge, not the title.

Nice image, I think of the "Undertaker" when I see this. Good lighting and focus on the eye, 8.
02/18/2008 05:36:29 PM
nice lighting.
02/18/2008 03:06:43 PM
Hot!
02/18/2008 01:35:40 PM
Nice portrait, great lighting, nice focus, great composition.... but I don't see how it has anything to do with misunderstanding.
02/18/2008 10:30:40 AM
Well done portrait. I like the lighting and pose. Not really certain where this fits the challenge theme???
02/18/2008 05:05:29 AM
Beautifully lit, great expression by the model. Very moody, its all good. Downside? The catchlight obscuring part of the eye. Minor point though!
02/18/2008 12:55:10 AM
Beautiful lighting and tones!
