I'm trying to figure out whether you saw the moon and set to take a picture of it and the geese were a bonus, or whether you saw the whole thing coming together and had the foresight to hit the shutter - either way, this is a great composition and a nicely playful take on the challenge. :)

I love the inclusion of the geese. This is such a pretty photo. I love that blue and the moon looks so cool. Actually it looks cold, with the clouds looking like they are wisping off of it - like a mountain peak.

This is a beautiful image. I love the color and composition. I think your interpretation of the challenge was valid, and I have nominated this for an OOBIE.

The sun at night would indeed be pretty darn interesting. First thing I thought when I saw this (OK, I'm in an odd mood...) is "the moon has gas!" - it looks as though it's expelling the clouds below it. So that's where clouds come from!

I am not totally sold on the concept meeting the challenge. It is a good image however. I would like to see the geese a little sharper, but it is hard to do in this particular situation.
