 I came up with this idea and bought the fabric before I even saw by timfythetoo. I got a little disheartened but decided to go with the original idea, which was to get the cat sleeping on the fabric so that I would not have his eye color in the shot, but I couldn't resist using this one and I now know why they say never work with animals or children - trying to get a cat to do anything that YOU want it to... forget it!!

Nice shot and great score considering you had color in it. Those that took the challenge to the extreme of having to have absolutley no color are just a bit anal. If this were mine I would have probably pimped out the eyes even more to make the color pop. But I guess I am a rebel that way. ;)

I love this shot, but I am inturpreting the rules very literally for this challenge and the yellow eyes take away from the illusion that this would have been a black and white picture.

I really like the bg pattern - cute! :-) Wish both eyes were illuminated as well as the right (viewer's right, cat's left) one. Very good control on the wht/blk points. Good luck in the challenge.
