Made a beautiful long walk from Amsterdam to Weesp on a misty morning.

Converted to B&W, applied Blue Filter.

Following on from the previous shot of the barge, this is again, very atmospheric and is exactly what I would expect during the late winter in The Netherlands. I love this.

Wow this is gorgeous. What a great place to take a walk. I love how the path seems to lead you into the unknown. Beautiful!

Fog and dense forest always make a great combination :)

Wow, this is great. The fog/mist really makes for great B&W photo's,and this composition with the trees is awesome. I've never used the blue filter before...could you possibly throw the photo on next to this one without it so I can see what effect it has?

Oh MY!!!! This is the type of photo that takes my breath away. I'm so jealous of your weather and scenery there.

Think I better add this one to my favorites. :)

Very nice vanishing point photo. Not only is it vanishing due to perspective, but it is fading away into the fog. Looking at the white objects others have mentioned, I'm thinking that they are birds. Beautiful photograph!

Beautiful image. Lovely to look at.
And another vote to clone out the white objects.

It must have been great walk and this makes a great picture. Trees and fog... makes a wonderful picture. I do find the little things in the road a bit distracting though.

hehe, second misty image from you in as many weeks - what are you going to do when the sun shines?

Your right, it must have been a great walk and its a great shot as well. As has been managed a little more contrast might help (keeping the fog foggy mind you). are thos 2 white objects halway in bits of rubbish? you may want to clone them out.

Into the unknown but neither dark nor forbidding. Indeed, it is very inviting.

(Not caught up on my commenting, but I had to see this, and I was way not disappointed). Certainly agree with other comments about perspective and light at the end, but what I find truly enchanting is the way the dark tree trunks are contrasted to the mid-grey ones, and the way the branches gesture at each other forming a canopy of conversation overhead.

Very nice. I like the framing, the leading lines, the mist, the light "at the end of the tunnel." There are lots of things to like about this image. One thing I would like to see changed if to get rid of that small white object in the middle of the road.

I am a real sucker for fog images, and this is a wonderful one.

Wow, such a cool path. Those trees seem to go on forever. Kind of spooky but intriguing. I would like to see more contrast. It's almost to gray instead of b/w.

Love the mistyness and the "light" at the end of the tunnel. I like the texture transition from detailed in the foreground to soft in the back. Lovely photo.

Really nice - a great image for B&W. I like the way it just runs so straight and then fades away. Great job.
