 Colored rock candy on sticks, taped together and mounted on tripod/easel. Used my camera tripod and the timer. Backlit by late afternoon sun in a mostly-clear sky.

I wanted to crop it square like an album cover, but nterestingly, to me it still looks like it's in portrait orientation, though it's actually wider than tall.

-Super-Macro mode, auto-focus
-Exposure Compensation -1 stop
-Auto-exposure and white balance
-Cloned-out some wires in the upper-right, and some stray branches and a jet contrail near the bottom
-RGB Curve
-Red Curve
-Selective Color: add Magenta and Yellow to Reds (made the pink redder)
-Selective Color: subtract Yellow and Black, add Magenta and Cyan to Blues (made the blues bluer)
-Resize
-Crop
-USM at 16%/64 dia/TH = 0
-USM at 44%/0.4 dia/TH = 5
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 7/10 = 193kb

I really like the simplicity and sharpness of this one. I think the placement was just perfect too. Awesome job!

The red seems a little too bright and jumps out at me more than the other 2 (which is normal for a bright red I guess but it seems a little too much to me).
