I would really like to see this photo with a complete glass and a complete border. This has the making of a beautiful picture for a kitchen or bar area. Beautiful lighting and setting, just needs the rest of that glass.

Like it, but take away the cork on the bottle.

This would make a great ad for the wine. Love the color (although the background looks too good to be true). The second wine glass is unfortunate, and the primary glass should have some wine in it. Still one of my favorites.

I don't know if that is a picture (on your computer) behind the set up, but it sure does add an interesting depth to this photograph. The lighting is superb. A really classy entry.

Cool. The natural frame is where it should be. Wonderful pic.

This certainly fulfills the basics of a magazine cover - vertical format, a large space where type could go and very pretty colors and composition.

This is a very nice idea. I'm not sure what happened to your border on the left. I think it looks rather odd cut off like it is. I also think the picture would be better with some wine in the goblet. Still, a nice shot.

Great picture, should be in the ribbons.

Great focus and colors. I love the background. I think showing more of the glass and using a black sheet under the bottle instead of the "bedsheet"(?) would have been another good idea, but it still looks great. 9

Good luck...

Good composition and good color. Using the background to promote the potential background of the wine is nicely done and presents a story more than just a product shot. Plenty of space for title and blurbs. I'm not sure the second glass needed to be in the shot and find the rim just a tad distracting and it probably adds to the reflections in the glass. The reflections dont show or suggest anything unnatural, so that's good too!

Very nice composition. Some wine in the glass might have helped.

And for the SEVENTH bottle in our little wine tasting...
Seriously, I love this photo, the composition, the colors, everything.

Pretty photo. I'm still trying to decide how I feel about the border. The left edge border disappearing behind the goblet is a nice effect, but the bottom border is a bit jarring with the way it just runs into the side of the image. Still, it's great to see this kind of experimentation and pushing the boundaries (pardon the pun) on DPC - I wish more photographers would do it.

makes me kind of thirsty. I'm uncomfortable with your crop. I don't want the wine glass cut out. I want to receive the emotion that I am welcome to taste this wine. With part of the glass missing, I feel like I might be stealing something. Nice work.

The lack of border in the lower left lost points. It's a very nicely done shot otherwise.

extraordinary photo! If the wine were as good as the shot, it'd be winning awards all over the world!

Very nicely done, how did you keep in focus after sampling six bottles? Seriously, could actually see this as a magazine cover, good work.

Nice, the glass cut off doesn't work for me, but the rest does. Great color.
