As some of you know up here in Canada we get snow in the winter:) Well Orillia is in the snow belt and this year the snow has done just that, belted us as often as it could. Some of the snow banks around the area are 20' high. This guys front lawn is just under two feet from the roof line of his house and that's only because we had some sun to melt it a little. It was level with the roof line which is 14'8" from the ground. My friend has the same house two doors down so I measured it there.

I like the shovel on the bank it shows that he's finally given up on the snow.

There was an article on the amount of snow we had this year and this house was the feature picture.

:) I hope he's found his yard by now - though I think hoping for a lawn might be a bit much to ask.

Like it! We had a little snow over here Easter day but all gone by lunchtime :( Almost envious, but wouldn't want to have to shovel it all :)

This is not his house, The banks would have to be 30ft high to reach his roof..

It's now the 25th of March and it should be spring, BUT we are getting another 25cm (about 10") of snow and there is more on the way for the rest of the week. WHEN WILL IT END!?!?!?!?

I like snow I really do, honest I do.

MAX!

I like snow but this is just crazy. I like how the arrows point to the snow, just in case you couldn't find it.

The fact that he actually took the time to make the sign and post is a crack up. Great shot.

LOL! What a fun and delightful way to deal with the probably exasperating nature of way too much snow! Glad to see your neighbor has a sense of humor, and this is a great shot to show it!

Honest this sign was NOT put there by me or anyone I know. I was working in the area and also my friend lives two doors away so I had seen the sign a few times and was going to take a shot of it because it made me laugh. Then this side challenge came up and I shot it for this for this instead:)

MAX!

Wonderful! If we got 1" of snow the whole country is in panic.

Too funny! Now tell us you didn't plant that sign there. ;>P Seeing that makes me miss winter a lot less ... I spent 10 years in Colorado, 3 of them in a house at 8500' elevation where I had to shovel a path through a looooooooong and steeeeeeeeeep dirt driveway by hand whenever it snowed like this ... and it did that a lot! I'm hoping the sun comes out for you soon.

Max,
When are you going to fess up and tell everyone that this your house and you are tired of shoveling the snow? Very funny picture and a good capture of what is around you. The shovel being in the scene is an essnetyial element to get the point across. Brilliant photo!
